- Test the cat5e/cat6/UTP/STP cable and the coaxial cable as well as the telephone wire, etc

- the situations like breaking at the set point, the short circuit, the cross pair wire and the separated pair wire as well the reversed pair wire, etc

- through the electrical resistance, to measure the lengh of the cable wire and can find out the position of the failure

- check and verify the maping table of the wire connection

- in the calibration mode, the unit of lengh can be converted from “meters” to “feet”

- the coeficient after the calibration can be saved, to be modified untill the calibration the next time

- display the connection on bouth ends

- if the button is not used within 10 minutes, it will automaticlly shut off
